The WE NOT ME Covenant
The governing philosophy of MiJaxx — no individual above the community, no community above individual rights.
"This covenant derives its authority from the United States Constitution, which guarantees the right of the people to petition their government, to assemble peaceably, and to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects."
1. The Primacy of the Common Good
We are citizens of Jacksonville, Florida, bound together by mutual care and collective stewardship. We reject divisive surveillance, predatory extraction, and unaccountable bureaucracy. We act for WE NOT ME.
2. Inviolable Individual Rights (Fourth & Fourteenth Amendments)
While we labor for the common good, no majority vote or algorithmic decision may infringe upon an individual's constitutional rights. Citizen data belongs exclusively to the individual; it may never be seized, sold, or surveilled without explicit, revocable consent.
3. Transparent & Verifiable Governance
All civic records, People's Slate nominations, participatory budget allocations, and municipal code petitions shall be public domain and verifiable on-chain through our accountability ledger.
4. The $MLY Civic Economy
Wealth generated by community stewardship shall flow back to the citizens who create it. Our community Universal Basic Income (UBI) rewards active civic participation across Council Districts 1 through 5.
